Clint nodded at Buffy.
"OK. So we need to work out who and where everyone is in town."
He glared slightly at Spike, but thought better of mentioning anything.
"Has there been much supernatural action recently?"

Buffy taken aback by the leadership this man was taking. "Wait a minute, who put you in charge?" She asked, this was one thing she hated about the council.

Spike chuckled. The new guy had already gotten himself into trouble. "You're in trouble now, mate," he said, moving his shirtless self around to Clint's other side, careful to avoid any sunlight coming in from the still open door. He was scoping him out. "Even I know better than to start ordering the Slayer around in the first five minutes of meeting her." He paused, "Though... she probably wouldn't listen to me if I started ordering her around now either..."

Buffy's gaze followed Spike, wanting badly just to push him into one of the deadly sun rays, but thought better of it. Instead she just glared and crossed her arms.

Clint eyed the Slayer with a look of sligt amusement.
"She aint like the other Slayers I met!" thought Clint
"My apologies. Im a military trained kind of guy, and im used to taking charge, and having my orders followed. However standard protocol in the field is to defer to the Slayer on certain matters. I am here to assist you in any way you feel, and remeber we are all on the same side."
Clint moved slightly to keep Spike in his peripheral vision,
"Im not some dusty old Watchers Council member. I have been in action, I have been wounded. I just want to pass on my professional skills to our new Slayers, so that they may not end up injured."
As he spoke he studied Buffy intently, his mind always active.
"She looks prety small, but then she has survived this long, she must be doing something right." thought Clint.
"Im here to offer assistance as and when required Ms. Summers. I'll follow your lead."

Spike couldn't help but release a quiet growl. He'd never liked the Council-types, EVER, irregardless of whether or not they were completely useless or otherwise. Despite the fact that he was souled now, they gave him the cold shoulder, so there was no reason for him not to give it back.

Buffy listened to Clint, "I appreciate the help." Buffy answered, shrugging off the leadership from before. "Anyways, If you want to talk training, then we can, but I don't want to get into plans, because we don't have anything to deal with yet." Buffy said, hoping she was telling the truth on that matter.

Clint heard the small growl escape from Spikes thraot, but let it pass.
"OK, thats fair enough" replied Clint to Buffy. "Im staying at the Salem Hotel if you need him."
He handed Buffy a phone number.
"Thats my secure mobile phone number. You can reach me anytime."
Clint walked towards the door.
"Hey Spike, you know you look a little pale. You should try and get more sun! Does wonder for the complexion!"
With that he opened the door and stepped out of Buffy house.
Walking back to his 4x4 he disengaged the alarm, and headed cross town back to his hotel room.

Buffy took the paper, but couldn't supress a small smile at Clint's last words, before he left.

Spike was far from laughing. He yelped before quickly side stepping the impending sunlight. Once Clint had left he growled again, "Cheekey bastard..."

Faith knocked on the door as she watched a guy take off from the summers house. she sighed as she opened the door and walked in. Faith had this thing about never waiting on anyone, and she hated to stand infront of the door waiting for it to be opened. "Eh, B. No intruder...just me. Faith.," she said as she could be heard coming through the door as her combat boots clanked the floor. she folded her arms and walked into the room Buffy was. she smriked as she walked through the door but glanced beside her. she quickly threw herself backwards and hoping she would land on the wall, but ended up on the floor. she slid backwards in a freaked state. she glared at Spike. "What in the bleeding hell? Did someone raise the dead while I was gone? You know I really needed to know about something like this.....," Faith said as her eyes grew wide as she picked herself up off the floor.

Spike was just as surprised to see Faith as she was to see him. He was also rather insulted. Rolling his eyes he snarled, "Did Angel not tell anyone that I'm not dead any more?"

Faith still continued to glare at him. "Dude, you guys used some seroius magic...is he still a vampire?," Faith asked. she raised her eyebrow as she stepped up to him and kicked him right in the groin, hoping to make him vamp. She had to see this for herself. She couldn't believe he was still alive, after knowing he was completely burned to ashes. This made no sense. she had to see his vampire form for herself, and to actually kick him, this was definatly not a dream.

Spike snarled, teeth bared, eyes flashing yellow. Acting on instinct alone, his arm shot out and hit Faith. This of course, didn't last very long since it put him in direct sunlight. He pulled back, still snarling. "WHAT THE BLEEDING HELL WAS THAT FOR?!"

Faith smirked at his attack at her. Her cheek was throbbing and it was sure to bruise. But she was definatly statisfied. He was in fact a true vampire. but this brought an even more concern to her. she folded her arms across her chest as the pain in her cheek began to die down abit. "I just had to see if you really were still a vampire. No harm done Spike, you'll still be able to use 'It' on Buffy I'm sure. But the real question is how in the hell did this happen? How are you still alive?," She said as she put all joking aside and became completely serious.
